Built by traders who got tired of broken tools
We started datagridorg in early 2023 because the trading platforms available felt either overcomplicated or painfully limited. There had to be something better—tools that actually help you make decisions instead of drowning you in noise.
How we got here
It started with a small team in Gwangju testing ideas that conventional platforms kept ignoring. We weren't trying to reinvent finance—just wanted trading tools that responded faster and made sense when markets moved.
By mid-2024, we had early versions running. People started reaching out, mostly independent traders who felt the same frustration with clunky interfaces and delayed data feeds. That feedback shaped everything we built next.
Now we're focused on something specific: creating platforms that strip away the unnecessary stuff and give you what matters when timing is everything.

What drives our work
These aren't corporate slogans. They're the things we actually argue about when building features.
Speed matters
Delays cost money. We obsess over latency because when you spot an opportunity, seconds matter more than fancy dashboards.
Clear information
Markets are confusing enough. Our interfaces prioritize the data you need right now, not every possible metric ever invented.
Honest limitations
No platform catches every move or prevents every loss. We tell you what our tools can and can't do—you decide if it fits your approach.
Rhys Tamworth
Chief Trading StrategistBefore datagridorg, I spent six years building algorithmic systems for a Seoul-based prop trading desk. Saw too many good strategies fail because the execution infrastructure couldn't keep up.
What I enjoy most now is working with traders who have solid instincts but need better tools to act on them. Our platform development comes directly from those conversations—real problems from people actually trading their own capital.
My focus is making sure our risk management features actually protect you without getting in the way when you need to move fast. That balance is tricky but it's where the real value sits.
How we approach platform development
We don't have a twenty-step methodology or corporate frameworks. Instead, we build features that solve actual trading problems we've encountered ourselves or heard directly from users.
Every quarter we run small testing groups with active traders. They use new features in real market conditions and tell us what's working or where things break down. That feedback loop keeps us honest.
- Direct data feeds with minimal processing delays
- Customizable alert systems that don't spam you
- Risk controls that activate before emotions take over
- Simple API access for traders who code their own strategies
- Regular platform updates based on market structure changes
Want to see how our tools work?
We're running live platform demonstrations throughout 2025. No sales pitch—just a walkthrough of features and honest conversation about whether our approach fits your trading style.
